UNDERSTANDING THE FINANCIAL REQUIREMENT

It’s very important to understand your Financial Requirements to Study in Australia.

Please note that all the figures below are roughly estimated.

FUNDS REQUIRED:

1St Semester Fee for COE

Visa Lodgement Fees: AUD 630(single) + AUD 470 for dependent

Overseas Student Health Cover: For Minimum of 2 years. The lowest cost of minimum cover is AUD 956 for 24 months of singles cover, AUD5200 for 24 months of couple cover.

FOR EXAMPLE: If your ONE semester fee is calculated as AUD13000

For Couple: AU$13000+1100+5200= AUD 19,300

For Single; AUS13000+630+956= AUD 14,586

BANK STATEMENT SHOW MONEY REQUIRED:

1-year living costs: 1 year living cost is AUD 21,041. If you apply for a Student Visa with your partner, addition AUD 7,362 is required. Applying with a child will further increase the required financial capacity.

Course fees: Use the first 12 months of your course fees (or if your course is 12 months or less, use the total cost) and deduct any costs you have already paid.

Travel costs: If applying outside Australia, include AUD 2,000 for most of the countries. If applying in Australia, include AUD 1,000.

Living costs + Course Fees + Travel Costs = SHOW MONEY
